Preferences:

  1. Show Preview (Printing Load Sheet): When checked you will get a "preview screen" when printing. This allows emailing, faxing, and printing when doing a rate confirmation. If unchecked, goes straight to the Windows selected printer.
  2. Show Preview (Printing Rate conf): When checked you will get a "preview screen" when printing. This allows emailing, faxing, and printing when doing a Loadsheet. If unchecked, goes straight to the Windows selected printer.
  3. Show POD screen when empty: When checked it opens the POD (proof of delivery) screen when load is marked Empty.
  4. Open with "Dispatch" tab: When checked, the brokerage opens on the Dispatch tab, When unchecked it opens on the Loadboard tab.
  5. Ignore Status Change Business Rules: When checked, disables our standard warning popups and allows status changes for incomplete loads with missing information (Not recommended.)
    • Example: If enabled, would allow a brand-new, totally blank load to be changed from "Available" to "Dispatched".
    • This will cause problems with Invoicing and should be normally be kept disabled.
  6. Strict Customer Credit Limits: When checked you must specify credit limits for ALL customers. 
    • If a customer reaches this limit, then you won't be able to assign that customer to ANY loads.
  7. Lock Invoiced Loads: Locks loads that have been invoiced. Discourages changes to rates, stops etc. 
    • To unlock individual loads with this enabled: Right-click on screen->edit load.
  8. Save Grid Settings: Stores each user's columns and grids. Each PC holds it's own local settings.



Carriers:

  1. Require Physical Address: Cannot ASSIGN a carrier to a load if this info is missing on the "pay to' tab of carrier.
  2. Require Billing Address: Cannot ASSIGN a carrier to a load if this info is missing on the "pay to' tab of carrier.
  3. Require Federal ID #: Cannot ASSIGN a carrier to a load if this info is missing on the "pay to' tab of carrier.
  4. Require MC #: Cannot ASSIGN a carrier to a load if this info is missing on the "pay to' tab of carrier.
  5. Require Insurance Amounts: Cannot ASSIGN a carrier to a load if this info is missing on the "pay to' tab of carrier.
  6. Require Valid Liability Ins: Cannot ASSIGN a carrier to a load if this info is missing on the "pay to' tab of carrier.
  7. Require Cargo Ins: Can not ASSIGN a carrier to a load if this info is missing on the "pay to' tab of carrier.
  8. Require Carrier 1099 Information: When checked, will not allow a carrier with no FED ID to be assigned to a load.


Advanced Settings:


  1. Warn users about un-empty loads past their due date: Will tell you "xx loads are not empty and is past due date".
    • Basically, enabling this tells you that you missed your delivery appointment.
  2. Require Orig/Dest Before Dispatch: This option will prevent anyone from marking a load as "Dispatched" if the origin or destination are left blank.
  3. Require Customer Reference Numbers: Must have a reference number to mark a load as "Dispatched".
  4. Require Gross Pay: Must have Gross Pay for invoice to mark a load as "Dispatched".
  5. Require Carrier Pay: Must have Carrier Pay for Accounts Payable, to mark a load "Dispatched".
  6. Single Carrier Assignment Per Load Per User: Users will require an admin override in order to change or reassign carriers.
  7. Intermodal/Container: Turns on Intermodal mode to track chassis and container information.
  8. Refresh Loadboard on screen change: Refreshes/updates the Loadboard automatically when moving to it from a different tab within Brokerage, or within Trucking.
  9. Auto Open Brokerage When Dr Dispatch Starts: Opens the Brokerage screen when you launch Dr Dispatch.
  10. Use Ship/Rec Open Times on stops: When checked, it uses the times you input on shipper/recv. If unchecked nothing is put in.
    • Some folks prefer to put the time in manually and it would get over written without option to turn off.
  11. Show Blank P/U Dates As: If you leave these dates blank, they will not show on many reports and features.
    • Set a default date if you tend to NEVER fill in the dates (NOT RECOMMENDED!!).
  12. Show Blank P/U Times As: If you leave these times blank, they will not show on many reports and features.
    • Set a default time if you tend to NEVER fill in the times (NOT RECOMMENDED!!).
  13. Path to Brokerage Contract/W-9 Packet: Type the path to the required folder manually on this screen, or browse to the folder's location using the "..." button to the right.
