A common cause of users not being able to connect to the Dr Dispatch server is an incorrectly configured Windows firewall.

Sometimes Windows updates can automatically change firewall settings and cause lost connections. 

The following steps will need to be performed on any computer that utilizes the Windows firewall. Even if your server is running Dr Dispatch with no problems, the firewall settings on the server can prevent a client PC from connecting. 

To access the firewall settings, navigate to the Control Panel and make the following changes if necessary.
