This is a common problem. The Dr Dispatch program was installed accidentally with the server component selected on more than one computer. This is dangerous, because some users pick the real data server with the company information, others pick the wrong server with Dr Dispatch demonstration data and begin inputting information there. So, your company will be inputting loads, customers, carriers, and other information in two separate databases.
This is an easy fix, however - the Nexus Server simply needs to be disabled in Windows Local Services.
To disable the false server, follow these steps:
1. On the false server(s), you can access Local Services from the Services Tab-->Open Services on the Windows Task Manager or by pressing Win Key + R on your keyboard and entering 'services.msc'
2. Scroll down and locate the NexusDB ServerV4 or V3 and double click on the name.
3. Select startup type as Disabled and press Stop.
4. Press Apply.
5. Reboot the computer.
6. Open Dr Dispatch, then verify that the NexusDB Server entry in the Services list is in "Stopped" status.
