There are times when you will need to run Update Manager on archived/secondary databases after doing a system upgrade or to resolve 'Table Does Not Exist' or other miscellaneous errors.

  1. Close out of Dr. Dispatch completely and have all other users exit Dr. Dispatch as well.
  2. On your server, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\DrDispatch 5\ and run Updateman.exe
  3. Reopen Dr. Dispatch and verify that the errors are gone.

If you have multiple company databases, or archived databases, then you will also need to run Updateman.exe on each database by following the below additional steps.

  1. On your server, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\DrDispatch 5\ and run DRDConfig.exe
  2. Change the Alias field to the name of another database.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click Update Data.
  5. Repeat process for each database that you need to update.

Alternatively, advanced users can open the Command Prompt and enter this to run Update Manager on all databases.

  • Please be aware that this process will need to be allowed to run to completion, DRD can not be used while it's running, and may take 10+ minutes depending on the size and number of databases that you are upgrading.
